What is a virtual queue?
A virtual queue is an online waiting line for websites and apps. When more visitors arrive than your site can handle, they wait on a queue page and are let in, in order, at a rate your servers can cope with. Queue-Fair invented the approach and originally patented it in 2004.
Your visitors see their place in line, their expected wait, and a People Ahead Counter ticking down in real time. They know the queue is moving, and they can see it's moving fairly.
