London, UK: Queue-Fair, the original patented virtual waiting room for business websites, are delighted to announce they are partnering with COMMED I A, an Italian company operating for more than twenty years in the E-Business and Information & Communication Technology field, to support private companies and public administrations.
The partnership will allow COMMED I A's customers to benefit from Queue-Fair's Virtual Waiting Room platform, allowing private companies and Public Administrations, whose activities are managed by the Italian company, to safely manage the extra traffic that would otherwise slow down websites – or even make some websites go down.
"The Queue-Fair solution", remarks Fabrizio Benvenuto, founding partner of COMMED I A, "has made it possible for us to manage in the best possible way the traffic peaks that often occur on some platforms of the Public Administration and private companies due to the numerous requests for access in very short times. By using the Virtual Waiting Room application, we can avoid unexpected crashes and guarantee users an optimal browsing experience, even in moments of great affluence on a specific web platform".
"We have to start from the assumption that all web servers might have limits", continues Fabrizio Benvenuto. "It is very often not possible to predict when and how peaks of users will occur on an online platform, and for that reason infrastructures are set up based on an assumption of demand and normal traffic flows. More and more often, however, it happens that these forecasts are disregarded and that important web portals become temporarily inaccessible due to high user traffic. At that point it is no longer possible to implement the technology that is at the base of the web platform, which is failing, and the only solution to adopt to avoid the crash is to use a virtual waiting room".
COMMED I A has started using the Queue-Fair solution, the original patented virtual waiting room system for busy websites, on the Step One 2019 portal - ripam.cloud -, a national platform dedicated to collect online applications for competitions published by central and local administrations. The Virtual Waiting Room system, in this case, allowed to easily manage the traffic peaks, preventing anomalous crashes of the web portal, due to the high number of visitors in a limited period. The system allows in moments of greatest traffic flow to direct users from crowded web servers to an online queue that sends visitors back to the initial site, managing the order of arrival and access times.
“We are proud to be of service to the people of Italy who use the Ripam platform,” said Matt King, CEO of The Fair Queue People Ltd, “and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with COMMED I A, for the benefit of website visitors to a wide variety of sites.”
Queue-Fair's Virtual Waiting Room service will soon also be used by COMMED I A on more institutional and private companies' websites (e-commerce included), with the awareness that there are many users, consumers and customers who consider those web platforms that have "crash problems" in the moments of overcrowding of accesses unreliable, with repercussions on conversions and sales that it would be better to avoid.
